Overview
The AM3SE series microcomputer protection device integrates protection and control functions. It is suitable for user terminal substations (stations) of 35kV and below voltage levels and can achieve protection and control of user substations.
The application fields cover industries such as power, water conservancy, transportation, petroleum, chemical engineering, coal, and metallurgy. The protection device adopts advanced, mature and reliable protection principles and algorithms, with strong anti-interference performance, high reliability, flexible protection implementation methods, and redundant communication design.
The device can cooperate with the Acrel-2000Z power monitoring system to guarantee the reliable operation of the distribution automation system in the user's substation.

● Mature and complete protection functions:
The protection device can be flexibly configured with different protection functions for different primary equipment, and can achieve protection and control functions for substation and distribution stations with voltage levels below 20kV. It is suitable for the protection and automatic control functions of equipment such as lines, busbars, and distribution transformers.
● High-reliability design: It has passed six electromagnetic compatibility test certifications, and its electrical fast transient burst, electrostatic discharge, surge resistance performance, etc. all meet the IV-level standards.
● High-performance hardware and software platform:
The AM2SE series of protection devices adopt a high-performance hardware platform, all using industrial-grade components, professional EMC design, and a complete online self-check test program. They use a high-performance processor as the protection CPU and are equipped with large-capacity RAM and Flash, making this product have strong data processing, logical operation and information storage capabilities.
● Customized switch input: Users can customize the configuration of switch input according to their needs, which can meet their demands to the greatest extent and is flexible and convenient.


● Humanization: The device adopts a fully Chinese LCD display, with a clear and easy-to-understand human-machine interface. Flexible and comfortable button design, and the menu-based operation is simple and convenient. The debugging and analysis software equipped with a computer interface is simple and convenient for debugging and maintenance.
● Rich interface resources: Five AC current channels and three AC voltage channels; 11 digital input channels (AC/DC dual-purpose), 5 digital output channels; One RS485 communication interface; One IRIG-B timing port.
● Transparency: Real-time recording of communication volume, input volume, output volume and the status of all protection modules; Record the action behavior, action time and wave recording data of each component inside the protection.
● Flexible and convenient wiring method: The device's 3-channel AC voltage input can be connected to phase voltage, wiring voltage, zero-sequence voltage or unbalanced voltage, adapting to various PT wiring methods. The protective current can be connected to the three-phase current. The other two AC current channels can be connected to zero-sequence current, unbalanced current or line current.
● Openness: The device has two built-in communication protocols: Modbus-RTU and IEC 60870-5-103, which can be selected through menu Settings. It can achieve remote fixed value modification and switching, event recording and wave data upload, remote control of pressure plate switching, remote signaling, and remote control of tripping and closing.
